The Emporium’s gallery is long, deep and still. It is said that each picture is a window into another place, another time, even another person. Some visitors sit on the cushioned benches and enjoy the peace and quiet. Others press their noses against each canvas, hoping to peer past the picture frame. They swear they catch the brush of feathers on their face, the scent of a forest in springtime, or the metallic heat of a forge. Some emerge enlightened; others simply like the colours. All are appreciated.
